poor print quality

I have recently changed my computer to a Sony and
although my HP printer has remained unchanged, the print
quality, particularly text has diminished. The letters
are more 'fuzzy' and not so sharp.

I would really appreciate any help if anyone knows why
this is and/or how I can rectify the problem.

I'm doubting it is the computer. I believe you are probably using a
different printer driver. If you still have the old machine around, verify
you are using the same driver. If you can't do this, then make sure you are
using the correct printer driver. If you already are, then is there another
driver around - say up on the HP web site?
