every time I reboot my system all the usb devices (printer scanner external
hard drive) will not work , I have to unplug then plug back each one then
everything works fine.

Make certain that you have the most up-to-date firmware that is available for
both your computer's BIOS and each individual device.

Hi Chinatown, Have flashed the BIOS, the firmware is up to date, rebooted,
but still the same problem.

You may have too many devices drawing too much power. Any of those devices
come w/ AC power adapter? Next time when the problem occurs, take a look @
the Device Manager (start- run-devmgmt.msc). It might let you know what’s
wrong w/ the devices.

Also try connecting only one of two devices at a time instead of all three.

1. Disconnect all devices & restart pc
2. Connect the devices one at a time & reboot until problem occurs.
3. If problem occurs, check devmgmnt.msc for any error message (hopefully).

Hello Chinatown, I did as you said and all the devices are recognised when I
plug them back in. no fault shown in device manager, but on reboot none of
them loads again, thanks
