pls help

My photos on the internet became blocky and distorted (both jpgs and gifs). The pictures on my hard drive weren't affected (they look perfectly normal for example in Photoshop) but some programs cause trouble now. I guess there's no problem with the monitor 'cause when I print web pages the pictures are still blocky and distorted. Any ideas? Anyone having same kinda problems?

Maybe you are using one of these new "Super Fast"
dial up services...lower quality graphic display is one
of the tricks they use.
