Hi guys, i know this is an XP forum but im having a spot
of trouble on my laptop (win 98)
Ive done some win updates recently and when i restarted
it went to a black blank which said " REAL MODE SYSTEM
MEMORY ALLOCATION FAILED"
can any one help?

Sorry, but why do you think we upgraded?

Try renaming autoexec.bat and config.sys to .old - then see if it boots. If
it does you just need to REM out the bad line.
