when i go to certain websites (www.lunnpoly.co.uk) for
instance. it loads the site then before you can click
anything the error message comes up. This says that the
pahe cannot be opened and the operation has bee aborted.
why is this, wot can i do to get this site and other with
this problem working pleaz help.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.

Let AD-Aware Scan your system for advertising Spyware

p.s Reset the 3rd party browser setting.

More: This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite).

When you click the Internet Explorer icon, window may flash a second and quits. Or, it may show an Error-Reporting dialog. This may be due to a malware Browser Helper Object which causes Internet Explorer process to terminate. If you see the Error-Reporting dialog, click "to see what data this report contains" and identify the Module Name causing this error
Temporary solution is to disable third-party browser extensions in Internet Explorer and enable IE functionality

1. Click Start, Run, type Control Inetcpl.cp
2. Click the Advanced tab
3. Under Browsing, clear the Enable third-party browser extensions (requires restart) check box
4. Restart Internet Explorer

*Then, you need to eliminate the malware*.
