Hello,
Everytime I log off or reset my computer a box pops up and
hpcmpmgr.exe error pops up twice before the computer finally logs off. This
error started happening after I used the Disk Cleanup option on my hard drive
Icon I deleted the temporoary internet files and the cookies. Can somebody
please help me

Thank you Eric.

Useing disk cleanup should have no effect as to the shutdown problem.
Try going to run, type:cmd In cmd type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree to restart,
then type:EXIT Restart computer. You might also try a new setting for
shutdown or restart, instead of logging off, select restart or shutdown.

You may want to download, install, then update a spyware
SW spybot, adware, and or spysweeper are some, spysweeper
has a 30 day free trial version and I find it to work the
best, it only allows you to update the definitions when
you install it, if you do not update it right away you
will not be able to again.

btw, you can tell your mom to blame HP, not you, and that HP has
acknowledged their problem with a fix that is posted on their site, which
you have graciously downloaded and installed for her! ;-)
