please somebody help me

i'm having a problem with my computer. i cannot open the programs for instance DVD Player, Window Media Player and others. I click like usual to open them, but, computer said that it could not found the exe.file and therefore, i cannot running the programs as usual.Can somebody help me to solve this problem or give any tips in order to solve my problem?
 
If these things worked in the past, but for some reason no longer work, try running System Restore. Be advised, though, that if you had a virus in the past, and did not rid it completely from your computer, it may return
However, the system restore may return your files that are missing. If that doesn't work
as far as Windows Media, you can always reinstall that, same thing with the drivers, etc, for your dvd player.
