Hi,
Can someone that was in the Tech Beta report this to MS for SP1?

If you have a 1 GB flash USB drive with a folder that is 900 MB and you try to update it by copy/paste.
Even though you only have about 3 MB to update the Vista things you are going to do the whole thing and says the file is
too big.

If you do a Complete PC Backup the same thing happens. It counts the System Restore points even though they won't be
copied.

Maybe it should have a way to deduct the files that are not going to be sent.

Have a good day,

Bug reporting for TechBeta is no more. It was closed when Vista released to
manufacturing on Nov 8. The TechBeta testers have no different means to
report a bug than anyone else now.

The main portal for reporting a bug in released software is Product Support
Services. Their research group triages bugs reported as such or determined
to be bugs based on calls for assistance from users. The Vista Development
Team members have gone on to other assignments.
