please help

Every so often, after a while my connection gets very slow
and stops me from entering new pages, playing games online
etc adn eventually it will stop the connection alltogether.

I am on asdl modem (connected by ethernet), XP Home.

Some people have said this could be a port issue but i
dont know and havnt any clue how to manage my ports.
Please help as no one has helped me and so far no one
wants to.

Do you get any error messages? If so, what is the exact wording? Do you have
anything running in the background or open at the time? (i.e., other
programs open, anti-virus, etc.)

Start here and try the following and see if it helps.

To Update Video Driver

Right click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
Click on Device Manager
Find Display Monitor and click on the + next to it
Double click on the file listed

Here you will find the information on your video driver. Then go to the
website for mfg. of the video driver and look for the update to download and
install.

advanced, performance
