please help

I cannot seem to get the movie maker to not crash when
entering a video effect. eg I try to use the "older
film" effect and the program just vanishes. Any tips on
how to fix this?

And sometimes when i make movie qlip shorter and then
movie maker crashes, and then that thing appears send,
dont send. please help
