--I have an insignia ns dv720P High def camera and I am crashing trying to
imort video please help. I can import movie files I made with my Arc soft
software but the problem with this is the original audio form the vidoe seems
to be missing. Please help I hate the arc soft software and really want to
use movie maker

I suspect it may a compatibility issue with the
format of the video.

And...BTW...Movie Maker was designed to
import from Mini-DV tapes via FireWire.

Many formats are reportedly compatible with
Movie Maker but the most reliable choices are:

Photos - bmp
Video - wmv or dv-avi
Music - wma, wav, wmv

You may have to download the movies to your
hard drive...convert them to the .wmv format...
and then import into Movie Maker.
