I have Windows XP Home and Mandrake 10.1 on a 80 gb hard disk. While running
Mandrake I can access files on my Windows partition but cannot view files on
Mandrake from Windows XP.

Is there some way the Mandrake files can be viewed from Windows.

2.Yahoo mail is downloaded by Outlook Express even when this is already seen
in IE. This creates problems because the mail is read and deleted a couple
of days ago but its again being downloaded. Please help.

Not AFAIK. Linux will see FAT or NTFS folders, bur Windows will not see
non-FAT or NTFS folders. the answer is to create a new partition for
data, and format it in a form that both OS's can recognise.

My apologies - for Folders read Partitions!

No. Linux uses its own file systems for the most part. It has drivers
to see some Windows partitions, but Windows has none for Linux ones
