Please help.

I was hoping that someone would be able to tell me what is causing this blue
screen. There is no error message or number. I can see my screen saver when
the system starts up or shuts down so I know it's still there. Could someone
tell me why it's there and how to get rid of it. I'm sure it's probably very
simple but it's something that I have never experienced before. I have read
the blue screen posts here but they are all different from mine as they gat
an error message or number. Thank you very much for your help.

Thanks for the information. How do I get to the event viewer. (I am so
computer illiterate). This is one sight I've never been to before.

A wonderful thing about Windows, it has help files for computer illiterates,
where you simply search for the item you're looking for ;-)

Hi Rosalie,
Go to the Start Menu (I'm talking XP) Control Panel, select performance and
maintenance- Administrative Tools,then you will represented with Icons,one of
them the Event Viewer Double Click it and look for any Red X,Yellow
exclamation(!)and see what is there.
