2 questions

1) Recently when i try and burn a new disc WMP inspects, converts everything
burns 1,2 or 3 tracks then closes the disc. The error message reads the discs
may be damaged or dirty and change the burn speed. I have done both these
things still no joy. What is wrong?

2) I recently downloaded lime wire and want to convert the mp3 tracks to
normal audio format so i can play these songs in a car as the car stereo does
not play mp3. Obviously the above needs to be recitified first but can you
help.

Thanks Saf

Try the "Burn" function in this application:

jetAudio Basic:

Lime Wire is malware AFIAK.

Hi

Thanks for help much appreciated have installed jet, pretty cool and has
solved my conversion problem(mp3>wma) but I still have the same problem, it
wont let me burn discs. It burns two or three tracks and closes the disc same
as wmp. It says error 970 and some text. I have tried every option there is
to burn, bought new discs, slowed speed, digital something and IMAPI no luck.
What can I do???

Mmm,
your DVD driver manufacturer should have some tools (software) available
online to check your drive; Plextor has some for sure, so does Nero trial.

Additionally you may have installed some burner software that will have
caused this by being either incompatible or just being poorly coded. You
might try removing the drivers for your optical drives, rebooting, and
allowing the OS to re-install the drivers.
