I started getting errors Saturday when I would go to use
Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer. Windows Explorer
gives me an exception at 1f60460 accessing 908eb644. The
addresses vary but they always end in the same last 4
digits. Internet explorer gives the general "error has
occurred" and allows me to send the error to microsoft.

This happens consistently on every account that I have on
the computer. I am running W2K SP4. Scanned drive and no
virus' found. Open dialogs and things like that work
fine. Shortcuts that use explorer like My Computer don't.

If I start in safe mode with network support, I can use
both Windows and Internet Explorer without the error.

Please help... I am at a loss of where to go from here.

Thanks,
ohn C. Elgin

Sounds like a few system files have gotten corrupted
do this, go to start run type in cmd hit enter
then type in sfc /scannow
this will start a system process to check each system file
for corruption or if it's missing, and will replace those
necessary
