IE stops reponding

W2K sp 6, Ie 6.x

A few times a day while using Internet Explorer the program freezes up "
not responding" and has to be restarted. No service errors logged. On some
web pages it never happens.

Is there software I don't have that may be causing this ? I have flash
player, java installed and pretty up to date.

Or is W2K just becoming incompatible with certain web pages ?

FYI SP4 was the last service pack for Windows 2000. You might ask in one of
the IE groups.
