Please help with my problem

I can not get my USB 2.0 to work at all. In fact sometimes when rebooting,
the USB mouse isn't working and I have to unplug then replug in the mouse to
get it to work. This is on a new mobo with no problems that I am aware of.
This seems to be an OS issue. When looking through device manager at the
USB, this is what I see:

These are the things I have done so far to try and fix this permanently:

1. Installed software from the ASUS's drivers CD.
2. All relevant updates for XP Pro from MS site.
3. Made sure that my BIOS said 1.1/2.0 under the correct location.
4. Went through device manager under right-clicked to update current
driver.

The board I am running is an ASUS A7N8X-E Deluxe Barton 2800+ w/ 1gig of
ram. my setup as far as USB goes is 4 ports on the back with one going to a
4 port hub that a printer and a negative scanner is hooked to and an
occasional thumb drive and an occasional game controller. Another USB port
is used for my IBM 4 button programmable mouse.

Thank you very much for any and all help you can give. This has been very
tiresome and frustrating. Really hope to get it resolved soon. Thanks again.

I do not see that you loaded the mouse drivers, I suggest that you download the latest drivers from the manufacture, and try again

you also stated that you used the CD to load your drivers, check the version and see if this is the latest one

The reason I ask is that the link http://home.comcast.net/~cadman_meg/Misc-Pics/USB20.jpg does not look correct.
