please help with Kernel Error

i have some serious problems with my computer after i installed Microsoft
Virtual PC 2007 on my XP

i have been getting these error messages:

"Your system is unstable.
A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown buggy applications
to prevent damage to your computer.
Kernel3264.SYS - Address C83B20AE base at C132F0, DS 76a046f3
Kernel Debugger Using Port: COM1 (Port 0x38f, Baud rate 9200)"

"During the scan of files which are start automatically at computer startup,
a critical errors in system registry were found.
0x01ff0010 irql: 1fSYSVER 0xbf04014
NT_Kernel error 1276 (EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED)"

"SysFader: IE7XPLORER.EXE - Application Fatal Error
the instruction at 0x02f63479 referenced memory at 0x03ac4e50. The Memory
could not be read. Click on OK to Terminate"

and then sometimes i get explorer.exe running on 100% cpu then like 30
seconds later its ok again, please help!

My Computer:
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002
SP2
Intel Pentium IV CPU 2.40GHz
704mb RAM

I would suspect you have installed 'Starlight' for IE, and the combo of the
Virtual PC, your regular OS, and Starlight are too much for the system.
Add/Remove would test that easy enough.

yeah, i have been receiving those messages and telling me to download that
program, thought it was the virus so i didnt install it

yes, you were right, i didnt install silverlight, but i un-installed both
Virtual PC and silverlight, still i get the same error messages
