Durring the past month I have begun having problems with a laptop on my
home network. It has seemingly out of the blue decided it doesn't want to
save my networking settings.
About every other time I boot my laptop it "forgets" it is connected to a
network. I have to run the network setup wizard again. Once it completes, I
can connect to my broadband internet connection as well as my networked
printers and desktops.
Is there a setting in the registry or somewhere that I can set or turn on
so that after I boot my machine I don't have to run this wizard again and
again? Sometimes when I start my laptop all is fine and I have no network
problems, but the other times I have to use the wizard before connecting to
anything.
I'm at my wits end and about to go postal. So any help anyone could provide
will be appreciated.
