Hi :)

I cant get my pc to read any 3.5" disks, its as though my
A: drive has been wiped off my computer, the little light
indicator doesnt even come on, please help me

Sounds like your floppy drive has died - replace it.

Start/My Computer/see if your "A" (3 1/2) drive is
listed. If it is, rightclick it, check properties and
error check it.

Thanks for the suggestion, and i have tried but my A:
drive isnt listed, the only drives that are there are
BOOT C: BACKUP D: RECOVER E: DVD DRIVE F: and CD-RW
DRIVE G:
any thing else you could think of would be really
appricated thanks again

It clearly sounds as though your floppy drive is no longer functioning.
Assuming that is the case, this is a hardware issue that can only be
resolved by replacing the floppy drive.

Your welcome.

Most computer stores, CompUSA, Best Buy or even a local shop computer shop,
most places that sell computers can service them. If your computer is still
under warranty, the manufacturer should replace it.

If you know how to do this yourself and are not averse to opening your case,
you can purchase a new floppy drive at most of the above and replace it
yourself. While a relatively simple matter, if this is not something you
ordinarily do, you probably should let a qualified technician handle it.
