Yesterday my company lost connectivity. When it was restored today, I
am unable to see the entire network. If I type the server name into
the command prompt, I can open it. If I connect via remote desktop to
another office I can still only see their local network. Do I need to
reboot all the local PDC's??
I'm stumped.
Thanks

Restart Computer Browser Service on the PDC Emulator can helps.

Bob,

Do you have multiple sub-Domains? You wanted to know if you needed to
reboot all of the PDCs? I guess that you are referring to the FSMO Role of
PDC Emulator? In WIN2000 there is no longer the concept of PDC and BDC,
just Domain Controllers.

HTH,

Cary
