I reinstalled recently Internet Explorer 6.0 in my Windows XP Professional
since there were some problems with it. After that, each time at startup the
system asked if I wanted to clean up my old IE settings. All the time I
pressed the No button, since I don't know how to get rid of that annoying
alert message, but a couple of days ago I didn't pay much attention and I
pressed the Yes option. Since then almost all of my folders in the Favorites
folder have gone (and I have no backup , unfortunately). There was a lot
of useful links in my Favorites folder and I want them back. I have searched
the web, used file recovery programs
but I had no luck. Is there any way to do it? Can anyone help me, please?
Thanks,
Silvia
