Can a memory stick cause this problem
winxp / PIII 550
The system keeps rebooting

I have to ask..

What do *you* mean by memory stick?

If you mean System Memory (RAM - the stuff plugged directly in your
motherboard that you do not carry around with you in your pocket) - then the
answer is a resounding "Yes".

If you mean a portable "Thumb Drive" or "USB Memory Stick".. Then the
answer is "Maybe".. It could be the memory stick, but more likely the USB
(hardware or drivers), chipset or anything else that would be accessesd when
plugging it in.

thank you and my memory, yes i did mean memroy stick ( DIMMs).
