Hi Ceowin,
This type of error can be the cause of many like:

1=> A Bad RAM, try to reseat the RAM in their slots.

2=> Scan for Viruses and Malwares on your computer.

3=> You may have BHO installed causing this trouble for you, on how to
disable BHO follow thses steps:
on an Open IE Page on Menu Bar click Tools >> Internet Options >> Click on
Programs and down click on Manag Add-Ons and Disable all suspecious Add-Ons
for non-MS BHO if there are any, then Try to enable them one-by-one and see
the culprit and Diable or Uninstall completely from your system.

4=> Open a command RUN and type in the following: sfc /scannow and Click or
Hit PK and let it run and get your XP CD handy to habd it in if it needed.
Reboot after each step and see if the Blue screen disapear.
Perform one step at a time and Reboot your Computer.
HTH.

Hi Ceowin,
=> Try to disable the Non-MS BHO and then you can renable them one-by-one
and see which one will be the culprit to cause the Error.
=> Step Four for repairing the Damaged core files on your system by
Installing defective softwares on your system over the time, by runing this
command it will fix any Error or damaged files/folder on your System.
HTH.
Please let us know your findngs.
