Please assist with odd error message

Hi All,

I have a strange error message now appearing when I boot into XP Pro.

The message reads 'Windows cannot find '(null)'. Make sure you typed the
name correctly,
and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then
click Search.

The error dialogue box has no heading.

Any thoughts as to what might be causing it ??

When you boot, or when you log in?
If the last, use something link msconfig to see what is set to
load at login, else check what is defined as services to be
started automatically.
