playlists again

If I reinstall WMP 9, what happens to my current
playlists? I actually want to reinstall windows XP
entirely, but dont want to lose the playlists.
 
there doesn't seem to be an 'export playlist' under file,
and the help files dont mention exporting playlists at
all. HELP!
