playing xbox 360 game and same game on pc.

trying to find out how to get my friend on his xbox 360 to play some online
games with my friends on pc. we both have the same game cod4 want him to join
us on our cod4 server while he's on his xbox. from his house, 15 miles away.

Simple answer, You can't. Call of Duty 4 may be the same game on both
systems, but the servers you play on cannot link 360 and PC games together.

The ONLY game (That means there is only ONE) that allows XBox360 and PC
gamers to play together is Shadowrun, and the game is pretty much dead, no
one plays it too often, but you can buy it on the cheap now, and if all
your friends play then you can probably get a good game going or two. It's
like Counter Strike, but with Magic and Guns and Swords.

Microsoft had big plans to allow 360 and PC gameplay, but the development
time is extremely difficult, most developers just don't want to invest the
extra $$$.
