Playing Superbike 2001

I installed Superbike 2001 from EA Sports on a Win2K
machine, but as soon as the start-up screen comes on the
game trows me back to the desktop. I have SP4 installed
and all the critical updates. I also have DirectX 7
installed which is supposed to run that game. Any ideas?

What video card are you using, and do you have the latest video drivers
installed on your system for your card?
