Playing Movies

I am having problems playing mpegs in my presentation.

I have tried to play an mpeg but when the movie is about to go - it
doesn't!

I have chosen both 'start when clicked' and 'start automatically'

But all it shows is the first frame of the movie. IT DOESN'T START
ANIMATING! ARRGHHH!!!!

I have two files of the same movie:

Avi - 300mb
Mpeg - 5mb

Oddly when I play he avi - it does work! but is very jumpy due to the large
file size. So that is why I converted it to a smaller mpeg.

Also they both play fine in windows media player.
