Playing DVD's

I can no longer play DVD's on any software including
Windows Media PLayer using any of my two drives -
"Pioneer" DVD Re-writer or the "Atapi" DVD Drive. I was
able to when I first recieved my computer but now it
shows an error message "Windows Media Player has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience."

Please Help
