Playing an inserted sound by the receiving computer?

I did create a .pps animation using among other a sound clip (64 kb)
downloaded into a folder called My Documents/My Music/iTunes/iTunes Music.
The whole package will play well when received on my computer.
Receiving users on other computers will see the animation well but without
sound.
From PowerPoint Help, I would have expected the sound to be embedded when
creating .pps file since the sound file is less than 100 KB.
Any suggestion how to resolve this?

The only sounds that can be embedded are wav files. My guess is it isn't a
wav file. Best bet is to put the sound file in the same folder as your
presentation, reinsert the sound file, then send both files as a zipped file
and have the receiver unzip it into any folder and play the PPS file.
Should work fine then.

Actually, I di dinsert a .wav file instead and extended the link file size in
tools/options/general to exceed the file of my .wav file. All worked well.
Thks.
