Sound does not play when presentation is e-mailed

Embedded MP3 file will not play when I e-mail my presentation (working with
PP2007). WAV file too large (30MB+), so it's not an option.
MP3 files copied from iTunes containing downloaded CD's, off own computer.
(went through the whole schpiel of deleting sound file, resetting embedded
file size, reattaching sound file, etc.)
Any way to fix this without having to download auxiliary software?

But unless the MP3 is pretending to be a WAV file (by using a RIFF-WAV
header), it will never be embedded. Only WAV files can be embedded so you
have to send the sound file with the PPT. See:

Sounds/Movies don't play, images disappear or links break when I move or
email a presentation
