Play soundtrack and narration simultaneously

I have a presentation with a WAV loop imported as a sound file and set to
repeat throughout the presentation (12 slides) The same presentation has a
narration that i recorded using the "Record narration" menu item. I cannot
get the narration to play while the soundtrack is playing. What's the
secret?

You are trying to play two WAVs at the same time. Is your sound card capable of
that? Try converting the inserted sound file to MP3 and see if that works for
you.

Thanks Sonia, you're bloody marvelous! I have been asking this question of
people for a week and nobody has come up with this response, yet it seems
so obvious.
