Narration not playing

Hi all,
I am a novice user in PP 2003. I muddled through making my slides, and
recorded the narration. How I did this was: Insert >Movies & Sounds> Record
Sound. I was reading previous posts about embeded sounds, trying to get each
slide to play the narration. It's set up to advance by mouse click. In
order to hear the narration, I have to click on the sound icon. No idea if
this means "embedded" or not.

I just want the narration to play automatically as soon as the slide is
advanced. Thanx in advance!!!

Right-click the narration, choose custom animation.

In the animation pane, click on the narration in the list. At the top of the
pane, change "on mouse click" to "with previous." Drag the narration
animation so it's the first thing in the animation list.

Thanx Echo!! When you say "drag the animation..." do you mean the little
sound icon?

I mean drag it in the animation pane. You can also use the Re-Order buttons
at the bottom of the animation pane. If it's the only thing in the animation
pane, then it's already at the top of the list! You just want to make sure
it's the first thing in the animation list if you want it to start right
after you advance to the slide.
