Play Problems

Hi all. I've just upgraded to Media PLayer 9 and have a problem. When I
download some music files and play them, Media Player will play the first
few seconds and then make a screeching noise as though the music file is
encoded. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Have you been using KaZaA ? Some mp-3 files have that noise . I think it is
the host files. Cause unknown. Jym
