Play music in other rooms

System is Gateway 500/Pentium 3/128mb ram. Two weeks ago
I upgraded from Win98SE to WinXP Home. Prior to the
upgrade, I could play music from Winamp or Musicmatch or
WMP thru my line-out jack to my tuner/amp to other rooms
in my house. Since the upgrade, I can only do this with
WMP. Winamp and Musicmatch will only play thru the
speakers attached to the computer but not in the other
rooms. Any suggestions?

Make sure you have XP specific drivers for your soundcard. Download them
from the manufacturer's website.

Upgrade to or re-install the latest versions of WinAmp and MMJB.

.
Jerry.....Thanks for your suggestion. I downloaded the
driver for my Sound card (Soundblaster Live) and re-
installed the latest versions of Winamp and Musicmatch. I
can now play music from my computer thru my line-out jack
#2 to my tuner/amp and thence to the other rooms.
However, now I cannot get any sound from the speakers
attached to the computer thru line-out jack #1. Any more
ideas?
Regards,
Bud
