play faster

What can i do? Everything seem to be played faster. How can i fix it?
 
You want to slow down your harddrive or CD-Rom? You didn't state. Go here:
Start>Control Panel>Sounds and Audio>Audio tab>under Sound Playback
click Advanced button>Performance tab>under hardware accellaration
move slider to the left one notch>click Apply and OK. If that doesn't slow
it down move it one more notch.
 
they both play to fast. Sounds from the harddrive or sounds from cd.

I tried wath you tell me to do but it doesn't work.
