copies the information you want, based on a list of text strings you
specify. You can keep certain lines of data while skipping others. (Text
file filter; data conversion extraction utility; report mining
converter. Parse or reformat ASCII or EBCDIC text or binary. Convert
Windows, Unix or Mac files, fixed record length and character terminated
(e.g. null or tab). Import and export CSV (comma delimited) for database
or spreadsheet. Convert and analyse XML and HTML, server logs. Legacy
migration. Support for batch file & command line. Transform,
restructure, remap your data format.)

Description: Net Transport is a fast and powerful download tool. You may
use it to download files from Internet servers. Net Transport supports

That's reasonable. Are you going to do it for all LFW? I think it would
be enough to do it for PL apps, starting from current PL apps.

ALL apps are already done - on the ACF web pages. Revising the cumulativePW/PL2006 database is the "global" revision I was talking about. That's the database that has all the detailed program descriptions (PW and PW nominees).

If you think version 1.2.0 is the "last freeware version" I need to note
that in the program description. If it isn't marked as a LFW version I
update the PL program description when a new version comes out (the LFW
designation is a heads-up that tells me NOT to update the app). I didn't
(can't) try the program but it does look as if the latest version is
free (it probably should be labeled as Liteware). ISTM you (or someone)
should try it to be sure. I did a bit of looking and turned up this info.

MD5summer is an application for Microsoft Windows 9x, NT, ME, 2000 and
XP which generates and verifies md5 checksums.
Its output file is compatible with the output of the Linux GNU MD5Sum
and it will also read Linux generated files.
It is released under the General Public License, the source can be
downloaded from the downloads page (down the bottom).
MD5summer is written in Borland Delphi 7. Source is available from the
download page.
