pivot table wizard 2nd step my data slected says database?

while creating pivot table through wizard in 2nd step my slected data shows
as database when I click next error message reference is not valid. can
anyone hlep to solve this. thank you.

Maybe one of the cells in the first row is either blank or has a value which
is not unique?
