Pivot Not

Does anyone have any idea why the Pivot Table view in
select queries might lose it's functionality?
The queries themselves run fine, but in Pivot Table view
the menu and toolbar options are disabled!
The database concerned has recently been migrated to a
different computer but the software and file name and
location are the same.
Is there some add-in or option that is essential to Pivot
Table functionality? Could a different user name on the
new computer have removed permissions?
New databases created also share this annoying quirk.
HELP!
 
Did anyone figure out this problem? I'd appreciate any insight on how to make this work.
