Hello,
A few weeks ago, I installed a Pioneer DVD Writer (DVR-107D) into my windows
xp computer. My old copy of nero is fine does not have capability to write
dvd's. Therefore, i eventually decided to uninstall nero and installed the
oem version of pinnacle instant cd/dvd version 8 se (shipped with the
writer).
It has wreaked havok with my system, which constantly restarts with the
message "a problem has been detected with windows". The warning screen is
only visible for a few moments and it's difficult to see exatly what it
says, other than i spotted something about running a "driver verifier".
Anyways, I have removed the pinnacle software from my system and all is well
again.
There is nothing in the event viewer and therefore I am struggling to sort
this one out.
Can anyone offer me a bit of advice?
My instinct is to download a current demo of nero and see how that goes, but
that will obviously involve shelling out more cash...
TIA
Stephen
