Ping Reply GENERAL FAILURE

i cant ping outside my LAN
if i ping the internal DNS and gateway it give a reply
GENERAL FAILURE...

luckly i can still browse using IE thorugh a proxy server
but the problem is i cant connect to internal LAN website

i just recover from a W.32 worm attack. LSASS
i remove it by Microsoft Misc. Prog. Removal tools

how can i restore the functionality of my TCP/IP?
(note: I Already try NETSH command, wont work..duh)

This sounds like either LSP / Winsock corruption, or general TCP/IP corruption.
The "netsh reset..." command is only one of 5 possibilities. Read and try all
solutions provided:

Thanks for the advice Chuck,
but I apply all you sugested and still not work

after i run the winsockfix and i ping my gateway
there is only one time ping respond:
RESPOND...
GENERAL FAILURE
GENERAL FAILURE
GENERAL FAILURE

again when i do what you suggested about deleting registry and
reinstall tcpip it occur the same: i do ping my gateway and only return one
respind the rest is general failure
PING RESPOND...
GENERAL FAILURE...
GENERAL FAILURE...
GENERAL FAILURE...
end of ping

im so sorry to trouble you.
But it seems that there something wrong with my networking.
i still able to browse I.E thorugh a proxy server
but when i access the internal mail webserver it dont work

is there any other way...beside reinstall XP :( hehehe
