LOL... I'm just going to keep to myself on this.

DO NOT BOTHER US IF

* You are a jerk

Yea yea... you can be released for other reasons.. :)

It's a true corporate company; You will work salary pay and when you
don't put in enough time, you'll get a nice fedex package (a meeting
takes place before hand, although you don't know about it) terminating
you. If you have no other job options and your in dire straits, apply.
Otherwise, don't waste your time. They don't really give a **** about you
as a person. trust me.

And! considering the primary app is still written in VB, I wonder why
the new C++ coding requirement? hehehe.. Nevermind.. I have nothing to
do with them anymore anyhow.

And when I say you don't know about it; you are working alongside your
"friends"; they are in the meeting, discussing your departure from the
company. They will let you finish up as if nothing is wrong, then..
tada; a fedex package with a sign this or you get no severance pay and
mail it back today or you get no severance pay. It's an american
corporate company. Good product, changing crew.

Let's not air dirty laundry.

Actually Ant is a good fit and has the programming background.

I wasn't. I didn't go into any gory detail of the funtimes I had with a
few of the higher ups. I just thought he might like to know how
"friendly" the company actually is. It's only fair one sees both sides
before they make a decision which could affect their financial future.

Indeed, he is. I just don't think he'd enjoy the exit philosophy. In
any event, I felt he should atleast know what he's jumping into.

Who does enjoy "our processing" with a company!

Thanks, and thanks for your comments, Dustin.

Actually, I'm not looking for employment as I consider myself retired.
Any programming I do now is for my own use, as a favour to others or
if paid, would be strictly part-time or a short term contract.

Currently, I've got two projects on the go; one for my local pub and
the other is my never-ending-forever-beta fake Windows kernel which
allows me to load, unpack and disassemble (possibly malicious) drivers
in user mode.

Hello Ant:

If you can think of anyone that believes they would be a good "fit"
for this, please pass it on.

My very best wishes to you in retirement and your ambitious kernel
project.

Thank you kindly.

Hi 1PW. If I could think of anyone willing to work under the conditions
I remember, I'll let you know. Off hand tho, I can't think of a single
person.

Hello Dustin:

I sincerely apologize for having awoken some bad memories for you my
friend.

I hope you know your friends will always wish you well.

No worries bro. I'm the exception rather than the rule. I know it's not
bad memories for everyone. :) Sorry if I made it appear that way.
I hope you know your friends will always wish you well.

I do, and I greatly thank you all.
