A while ago I lost both Wordpad & Pinball from my computer. the Shortcuts were still there

I did a system restore (backed up about 2 weeks, the last time I played Pinball) and Wordpad was reborn. However, Pinball only flashes its opening screen for less than a second when I hit the shortcut

I've disabled my pop-up stopper, etc., but still no Pinball

Any clues

Thank

.

Try to find this file manually to findout if its still on
the harddrive- if the file was deleted or something

the shortcut would be broken, and would give you a message

"C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Pinball\PINBALL.EXE"

Hi

What do you see if you type the following in Start>Run:

pinball

In control pane---add/remove programs---on left side is add/remove windows
components. Remove accessories and reboot. Then go back and add the
accessories including games. (You'll notice games is under accessories.) To
make a long story short, 'reconfigure' Windows set-up.
