I'm running XP Prof. with MS Picture It and Adobe Photo
Elements. This is a new system for me. I transferred all
my pics from the old system to a CD-R then downloaded
them to a subfolder below My Pictures. One download was
direct from a Nikon Coolpix 755. When I try to open them
either from the pic folder, or by opening them from
within either of my photo mgmt programs a box pops up
saying Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and
needs to close. Then I have no choice but to shut
everything down. Does anybody know what is causing this
and what the solution is?
