Pictures Stretched

I have a group of students creating movies from animations they have created
using other software. Several students are moving their images into
MovieMaker and the pics are stretched. For example, one student's image size
is 6 inches X 1.75 inches, with 72 dpi resolution. When the student imports
this image and adds it to the storyboard, the picture is severly stretched,
losing the outer edges altogether.

For no stretching the aspect ratio of input images need to match up with the
desired output aspect ratio. Windows Movie maker by default supports two
aspect ratios: 4:3 and 16:9. Other aspect ratios can also be used by
providing your own custom output profile.
