Preparing Pictures for Movie Maker

I want to import photos to do a slide show with music for Movie Maker.
Currently have all of them large and high res. Should I change them to
480x720 and 72 dpi before importing? Want them to show at best image
sharpness as possible once they are in.

Leave the resolution as it is and try the free
PhotoStory 3 for creating your video slide show.

(runs on XP, Vista and Win7)

If you decide to use Movie Maker anyway...
you might want to learn about Custom Profiles:

Personally, I use the following .wmv profile
when saving movies.
SlideShow-1024x768WMV9

Download from the following site...

Movie Maker 2 - Saving
Movies - Custom WMV Profiles

or...

Right click / Save as...drop it in the following folder:
C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared\Profiles folder
(if there is no Profiles folder...you will have to create it)

Choose 'SlideShow-1024x768WMV9' when you save...

File / Save Movie File / My Computer / Next / Next /
Show more choices / Other Settings...
