movie maker not showing video only audio

Please help ASAP, I am creating a movie in movie maker. I first have
pictures right after that I imported video from my camcorder which I
converted to AVI, because it was first downloaded as MOV. I can see the
video in the storyboard, it plays exactly how I want it to in movie maker,
BUT when I finalized and save to a DVD the pictures show the music plays and
NO video. What am I doing wrong, I tried several other software programs and
they do the same thing, so do I need to change some settings in movie maker?

There are over 800 different avi file types, and only one - dv.avi - works
in MM, so best to convert to wmv.

ok, So your saying convert my avi file to wmv then use this new file in MM?

Thanks that worked. I used avs converter. and placed the new file in MM, I
