Pictures show up in frontpage but not when published

I am having a problem where pictures are not showing up
when I publish them. I just get a red x. I have tried
compressing the pictures but it continues. Can anyone
suggest a solution? This does not happen to all pictures.

Check the image paths
- they need to be to images you have imported into your FP site

The pictures automatically upload. But I will double
check. And I will check the path.

Make sure you have the correct path (assuming of course

that you have already uploaded the pictures to the site
server). For instance
www.mysite.com/images/yourpicture.gif . If the correct
path is not listed you will see a red x, if the picture
is not on the server, agian you will see a red x.
