Open blank picture on webpage

I use FrontPage 2003 to upload pages to my website. Some pictures in Word
articles appear OK but some are blank and have a red x in the top left
corner. I am unable to open them. Any solutions?

If the Word articles are Word documents then ensure the images are embedded
in the page - these documents display in Word (in the browser) when
downloaded. If the images are embedded, then ask in a forum or newsgroup
that deals specifically with Word.

If the articles are HTML pages constructed with Word (cut and paste, or
saved as HTML) then ensure the hidden pagename_files folder (thicket
folder) is also published. This should happen if you publish the entire
website (all pages or changed pages), but will not happen if you only
publish the single page or use another FTP program - some FTP clients will
not show hidden folders.
See http://www.rxs-enterprises.org/tests/thickets.aspx for more information
regarding thickets.

Thank you for the suggestions. I will need to find someone to help me
understand them. If anyone else has a suggestion I would appreciate it.
